Wow.  People in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Adelaide have made a Star-Wars esque “Electric Diwheel With Active Rotation Damping.” Just like the Segway bot  you all made when you got your HT Gyro, this balances itself, even upside-down

This is what they look like in Star Wars. And in real life:

Not quite as evil-looking but still AWESOME.

LEGO Ukelele

Wow, Ross Crawford decided to make a Ukelele. But he didn’t decide to make it out of boring old wood like the rest of us.

He made it out of LEGO.This looks very nicely done, with working tuning pegs, and from the MP3 he uploaded onto his blog, actually looks playable.

I am working on a new game in NXC for the NXT.

It will be a target-shooting game in 2d.

Visual NXC

Over at MiBo, sidneys1 is creating a new NXT-G-like IDE of NXC

It would be like NXT-G except

• Open source
• Less buggy
• Based on NXC code, not LabVIEW
• have the ability to edit the underlying code
